A few key stats where Georgia has the advantage over South Carolina

Georgia coach Kirby Smart is 3-0 against South Carolina head coach Will Muschamp, his good friend of over 20 years.

Last season, Georgia beat the Gamecocks 41-17 in Columbia, and this year the Dawgs are favored by 24.5.

The Bulldogs lead the all-time series 51-18-2, and based on the path the two teams are on this season, Georgia is likely going to add another strike in the win column.

South Carolina’s not a great team, they may not even be a good team. But the Cocks have enough talent to give Georgia some issues early on.

I was looking through some stats and Georgia dominates just about everywhere (FYI, we will have the full statistical breakdown later this week as we always do). Based on these big ones, the Dawgs look like they’ll run away with this game.

Key stats…

Points allowed per game: Georgia 10.8 – SC 24.4

Total yards: Georgia 512.2 – SC 432.4

Rushing yards: Georgia 250 – SC 203.8

Total yards allowed: Georgia 278.6 – SC 390.8

Passing yards allowed: Georgia 219 – SC 251.8

Rushing yards allowed: Georgia 59.6 – SC 139
