On Saturday, November 9 2019 the Daily Record published an article on the website following a BBC Radio Scotland Sportsound programme.
During the debate the panel gave their views on Austin MacPhee, who at the time was in interim charge of Heart of Midlothian Football Club.
A number of the panel – including Willie Miller and Allan Preston – were critical of MacPhee.
However, we originally and wrongly attributed Mr Miller’s quotes to Mr Preston. We said Mr Preston had told MacPhee "he should get a life". In actual fact it was Mr Miller who said that.
The article was later corrected.
However, we would like to fully apologise to Mr Preston for this error.
