Logan Paul’s latest YouTube vlog has the WWE community buzzing. In the video, you can catch a subtle background detail that hints at potential throwback vibes for the upcoming WWE 2K26 game. Paul appears to be filming some promo material for the game, and at 0:19 in the video, the background unintentionally (or cleverly) shows the WWE 2K26 logo.
What’s important here is the fact that the logo is styled in the iconic scratch font that most wrestling fans of the Attitude Era are familiar with. It’s the sort of blink-and-you-miss-it details that have fans dissecting every pixel for clues.
The Speculation Continues
This is by no means the first time 2K and WWE have used sneaky visuals to hype their wrestling sims. For WWE 2K25, a Raw segment with a door slam revealed the logo for the game, teasing Roan Reigns as the cover star. Today’s reveal shows the scratch logo, which we haven’t seen since WWE 2K14. Of course, theories are now running rampant.
Some think that this hints at an Attitude Era showcase mode, packed with Stone Cold, The Rock, and that raw, edgier gameplay feel. Communities like the r/WWEGames subreddit are ripe with this discussion. Here is one fan’s hopes and expectations:
“If they’re going the nostalgia route this year, I hope they overhaul a good bit of the Legends models and for the love of god give some new move and taunt animations.”
It appears there’s a lot of new stuff to expect from the upcoming game. As we discussed previously, it’s all but confirmed that we’re getting an expanded roster with AAA talent. Wrestlers from AAA would add some much-needed high-flying flair to the game. The inclusion of TNA stars is a bit unlikely still, but with WWE’s growing partnerships with the company (cross-promos, talent swaps), it’s not the most far-fetched thing.
WWE 2K26 could be a showcase for a mega roster revamp, nostalgia, and possibly better gameplay. Of course, this is all just speculation (hopes, to be put it frankly), but it’s hard not to get a little bit hyped. There is still no official comment on any speculation so far from 2K, so they’re likely building towards quite a few surprises.
