7 NCAA tournament stats about Kentucky

The Kentucky Wildcats begin their quest for a ninth national title in program history on Thursday with an opening round game against Abliene Christian. After a 27-6 season and a loss in the SEC tournament semifinals to Tennessee, the Wildcats received a No. 2 seed in the midwest region – setting up a potential showdown with No. 1 North Carolina in Kansas City for a spot in the Final Four.
