PATNA: The number of active Covid cases in the state touched 308 on Sunday with 55 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The figure could go slightly up as several districts could not upload their data because of suspension of internet services.
As per the health department, the 55 new cases were registered against 88,539 samples tested. Patna alone accounted for 37 cases on Sunday. With this, the number of active cases in the state has increased to 182.
Since most patients have mild symptoms, they are under home isolation.
Nodal incharge for Covid at AIIMS-Patna, Dr Sanjeev Kumar, said two Covid patients were admitted to the hospital on Saturday and both were on oxygen support.
