5 undrafted free agents with the best chances to make the Eagles 53-man roster

The Philadelphia Eagles had eight picks in the 2020 NFL Draft but their most impressive roster additions could come in the form of several talented undrafted free agents.

Immediately after the draft, the Birds signed Michael Warren RB, Raequan Williams DL, Dante Olson LB, Grayland Arnold CB, Adrian Killins RB, Julian Good-Jones OT, Elijah Riley CB. Khalil Tate WR, Noah Togiai TE, Luke Juriga IOL, Michael Jacquett III CB, Manasseh Bailey WR
and edge rusher Matt Leo.

With the virtual offseason progressing here are five undrafted free agents with a great shot at landing on the 53 man roster.

Michael Warren

RB Michael Warren

Possibly Jordan Howard’s replacement, Warren turned pro after rushing 261 times for 1,265 yards and 14 touchdowns in 14 games last season.

Standing 5-foot-9, 226 pounds, the Toledo, Ohio, native is a load to bring down and very productive.

Michigan State DL Raequan Williams

He doesn’t rush the passer well, but he’s long, versatile, and he has a high-motor against the run game.

Williams earned third-team All-Big Ten honors as a junior after starting 13 games and racking up 53 tackles, 10.5 for loss, two sacks, and five pass breakups. Rather than cash out on his pro potential, he stayed in school and earned third-team All-Big Ten honors again after racking up 48 tackles, 7.5 for loss, five sacks, and two pass breakups.

Montana LB Dante Olson

A linebacker out of Montana, Olson has all the goods and could make a lot of teams regret passing on him.

Olson started 25 of 47 games at Montana and during his final season, he set the Big Sky Conference’s single-season record for tackles with 179 and made 26 tackles for loss, 11.5 sacks, three interceptions, five forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. In the game that put him on the map, Olson registered had 14 tackles against Oregon and then won the 2019 Buck Buchanan Award for the top defensive player in the FCS, as well as a consensus All-American.

A smart and instinctive ball-hawk, Olson plays in the mold of T.J. Edwards.

Baylor DB Grayland Arnold

Arnold was a draft worthy player who can play cornerback and play safety. He has great timing, good athleticism, and a nose for the ball.

Standing 5-foot-9 and 186 pounds, Arnold was named second-team All American and All-Big 12 during his final season in Baylor when he led the team with six picks.

A talented slot-cornerback, Arnold will find a place on the Eagles roster and will likely make a veteran expendable.

UCF RB Adrian Killins

The 5-foot-7, 162-pound running back is fast and productive while specializing in finding the endzone. He’ll go down in UCF history after finishing his career with 2,459 rushing yards and 25 rushing touchdowns career. His 6.1 yards per carry average ranks third in school history.

Killins wasn’t invited to the NFL Combine, but if he had, he would have clocked one of the fastest times.

In 2019 with UCF, Killins rushed 87 times for 629 yards and seven touchdowns, while adding eight catches for 120 yards and another score.

Killins and Warren should both make the Eagles 53-man roster while ensuring that Miles Sanders doesn’t get ran into the ground next season.
