5 takeaways from Rams’ Week 14 win over Patriots

Sean McVay often talks about cutting the season into quarters and encouraging his players to take it one game at a time in each four-week stretch. Well, after going 8-4 in the first three quarters, the Rams got off to a perfect start in the fourth quarter of the regular season, crushing the Patriots 24-3 on Thursday night.

It was as big a statement as the Rams have made all year, bowling over the team that shut them down in Super Bowl LIII. At 9-4, the Rams are in the mix for a top-two seed in the NFC and are one inch closer to securing a playoff berth.
