The Kansas City Chiefs were back outdoors at practice in front of fans on Monday after lightning thwarted Sunday’s outdoor practice.
The team is kicking the intensity in practice up a few notches with the first preseason game less than a week away. They practiced some unique situations during team drills, working on blitzing, third-and-long, various red zone situations, and a long-drive period. Basically, all the tough in-game situations that players could face for the first time on Saturday. As a result, there was plenty to take away from today’s practice session.
