5-star Holy Spirit guard Anthony Edwards makes commitment decision

Anthony Edwards, a five-star guard out of Holy Spirit Preparatory School, has made a commitment decision.

The 6’5 Holy Spirit superstar will be playing college basketball in Athens next season for Georgia.

Edwards is ranked No. 2 in the nation for the 2019 class, No. 1 at shooting guard and No. 1 in the state of Georgia.

The five-star point guard known as ‘Ant-Man’ narrowed his list down to Georgia, Kentucky and Florida State, after canceling an official visit to UNC last week and removing them from consideration.

After eliminating UNC from his list last week, Edwards later changed his mind on visiting Florida State.  The canceled visit to Tallahassee foreshadowed a potential commitment to Georgia.

Now, the 5-star guard is in fact committed to the Bulldogs.
