It has an excellent 4k resolution that displays every single detail of your gameplay. The 27” screen size is good if you play games alone, but you might find it limiting if you tend to play more co-op games.
It has very good motion with a fast response time and minimal motion blur behind fast-moving objects. The 27UK650 is flicker-free, which is great for those who play for long hours. It supports AMD’s FreeSync for tear-free gaming, provided you have the compatible hardware. Unfortunately, the monitor only supports a 60Hz refresh rate, which some people might find limiting.
The 27UK650 supports HDR, but it doesn’t have a wide color gamut and cannot reach the necessary brightness levels to deliver a good HDR experience. Overall, however, most gamers will enjoy this very good 4k gaming monitor.

The monitor is very responsive due to its excellent low input lag and fast response time, which make it a great choice for gaming.
The LG 32UD99-W supports FreeSync for tear-free gaming, but its refresh rate is limited to 60Hz, which might disappoint some gamers. There is a built-in USB hub at the back of the monitor that makes it easy to attach your gaming accessories.
This 4k IPS monitor has wide viewing angles and supports HDR, but the lack of a wide color gamut and the mediocre peak brightness do not allow it to deliver a remarkable HDR experience. Overall, it is a great monitor that is suitable for most gamers.

The monitor has decent picture quality, excellent 4k resolution, and a narrow bezel which is great if you wish to create a multi-monitor setup for an even more immersive gaming experience. It is more suitable for a brighter room as it can get sufficiently bright, but blacks in a dark room tend to look more gray due to the low contrast ratio. It does not support HDR.

The Acer Predator X27 is the best 4k G-SYNC gaming monitor we’ve tested thus far. It has a low input lag and excellent motion handling, thanks to the very fast response time, but unfortunately lacks a BFI feature to make motion even crisper.
The native refresh rate is 120Hz, but you can easily overclock it to 144Hz. This is fast enough for most competitive gamers, who will also enjoy the G-SYNC support over a wide range of refresh rates. It is a versatile monitor with some nice additional gaming features that can enhance gameplay.
The monitor has a wide color gamut and can get bright enough to deliver a decent HDR content. Unfortunately, it has poor dark room performance due to its low contrast ratio, even with local dimming. It also has bad black uniformity. Overall, however, The Acer Predator X27 is a great gaming monitor that will please most of its owners.

LG 32UD59-B: The best darkroom 4k gaming monitor

The best 4k monitor for gaming in a low-light room, out of all the ones we’ve tested so far, is the LG 32UD59-B. It is a large, 4k monitor that can produce deep and fairly uniform dark scenes thanks to its high native contrast ratio and decent black uniformity.
It has good motion handling and a low input lag and reacts quickly to your actions. The great 4k resolution and the large screen size allow you to see more of your gaming area, but the image loses accuracy at the edges if you sit up close. The native refresh rate is only 60Hz, but the monitor supports FreeSync for a smooth, tear-free gaming experience.
It does not support HDR but has a ‘Black Stabilizer’ feature that can brighten or darken shadows, which can be useful for gaming. Overall, the LG 32UD59-B is a good 4k gaming monitor that performs well in low-light environments.
