49ers sign former Eagles WR Jordan Matthews to deal

Another former member of the Philadelphia Eagles is moving on to different pastures, as Jordan Matthews will attempt to find a role in Kyle Shanahan’s offense in San Francisco.

Matthews, a second-round pick of the Eagles out of Vanderbilt, is entering his sixth season in the NFL. After being cut by the Bills, Matthews returned to the Eagles, where last season, he posted numbers of 20 catches, for 300 yards, and two touchdowns.
