49ers injury update: Tevin Coleman ruled out with ankle injury

A familiar site rose for the 49ers in their Week 1 matchup against the Bucs. Running back Tevin Coleman left in the third quarter with an injury, and was ruled out for the game.

San Francisco has enough depth to withstand a loss at running back, but that’s a tough blow to their backfield. Coleman was having a nice game with 33 receiving yards and 23 on the ground.

Matt Breida and Raheem Mostert will share the load with Coleman out.

There’s no word on the severity of the injury.
