462 virus cases confirmed in Tokyo

A total of 462 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Tokyo on Friday, it has been learned.

It is the first time in six days that the number of new daily cases has passed 400, and the 11th consecutive day that the number has exceeded 200.

A cumulative total of 15,107 people have been infected with the coronavirus in the capital.
