The Kansas City Chiefs kick off their rookie minicamp on Saturday and they’ll have a ton of tryout players in attendance.
Chiefs team reporter Matt McMullen shared a full roster of all the players in attendance at rookie minicamp for Kansas City. The group includes the 10 drafted players and 10 undrafted free agent signings announced by the team.
It also includes a number of current players on the roster with one or fewer years of experience. Players like Cornell Powell, Darryl Williams, Malik Herring, Zayne Anderson, Dicaprio Bootle, Devon Key, Mark Vital, Anthony Gordon, Matt Bushman, Brenden Knox, Austin Edwards, and Brandin Dandridge will all be in attendance for the minicamp.
Lastly, the roster includes 40 players who will attend minicamp on a tryout basis. That’s a big jump from last season, where the Chiefs were only able to host a handful of players on tryouts due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It’s not uncommon for Kansas City to sign several tryout players to the 90-man roster after minicamp.
