The Arizona Cardinals have several positions they must attend to in the offseason. They need upgrades.
However, there are some positions that don’t need much attention. With the player they already have, they probably are good the way they are.
What positions are they?
Quarterback

Obviously, Kyler Murray is the guy. They will need a backup in 2020 but Brett Hundley worked out just fine. They don’t need to address the position significantly.
Cornerback

Peterson played at a high level at the end of the year. Robert Alford is under contract next season and will be counted on as a starter. Byron Murphy takes care of the slot.
They don’t need to add anyone there. That should be solid. They could add a veteran as depth, but Kevin Peterson and Chris Jones are still good options off the bench.
Tight end

They already signed Maxx Williams to a contract extension. They think highly of Dan Arnold. Darrell Daniels will be back. They could add someone but they really don’t need to.
Safety

Budda Baker is becoming a star. Jalen Thompson looks like he can hold down the other safety position. They could add a veteran or bring back someone like Chris Banjo, but unless they aren’t sold on Thompson, it looks like they have their starters already.
