35 metre art installation to open in West Super Mare after oil rig transformation complete

Oil Unboxed (Organization) Leeds North Sea United Kingdom

See Monster is an art installation in Weston Super-Mare opening to the public on Saturday.

The work is a transformed disused oil rig from the North Sea, as part of the UK wide Unboxed project.

The transformation of the structure was led by Leeds-based creative studio Newsubstance, who’s founder Patrick O’Mahoney is interviewed, taken from July 2022.
