3 Texans land on Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week

The Houston Texans had themselves a field day in a 53-32 win over the Atlanta Falcons in Week 5. In doing so, several members made Pro Football Focus’ Team of the Week.

Left tackle Laremy Tunsil, wide receiver Will Fuller and defensive tackle D.J. Reader all made PFF’s Team of Week 5.

Tunsil did not allow a single sack, pressure, hit or hurry on 38 pass-blocking snaps. In doing so, the 25-year-old left tackle had a perfect game, nothing a 100.0 pass-blocking efficiency rating. He finished the outing with an 83.5 overall grade.

Fuller recorded 14 receptions for 217 yards and three touchdowns on Sunday. Per PFF, he also had a “ludicrous” 6.20 yards per route run; by far the best of the week. He finished Sunday with a 91.5 overall grade.

Reader — as he has done all-season — impressed against both the run and pass. Per PFF, all three of his solo tackles resulted in a defensive stop. He recorded a sack and three hurries on 22 pass-rushing snaps.

Perhaps next week, against the Kansas City Chiefs, more Texans will make PFF’s Team of the Week.
