3 resolutions for Lakers entering 2022

New Year’s Day is here, and 2022 will allow the world to hit the reset button and find ways to improve from the previous 12 months.

That rings true for the Los Angeles Lakers, a team that definitely needs improvements if it is to compete for a title when the playoffs arrive.

The Lakers entered the 2021-22 season with championship aspirations after acquiring Russell Westbrook in a blockbuster trade over the summer. But injuries to LeBron James and Anthony Davis along with a wave of players sidelined by COVID-19 in the league’s health and safety protocol have delayed Los Angeles’ potential success.

Let’s look at three resolutions for the Lakers as they look to improve in 2022:
