Sunday sees us somehow already heading into February 2026, and that means Netflix is poised to add a ton of new movies to its library. If you're on top of your watchlist, this could be great news, but if you were already struggling to keep up with all the new shows and movies on Netflix (or all the best streaming services, for that matter), you might not know where to start.
That's where I come in. I've looked through everything new on Netflix in February 2026 and put together a brief list of recommendations that I think belong on your watchlist. While I'm sure many Netflix subscribers already have the weekend blocked out for catching up on the first half of "Bridgerton" season 4, there are some great new additions coming to the platform in the next couple of days.
Here are three new-to-Netflix movies that I'd recommend adding to your watchlist this weekend.
3 new-to-Netflix movies to stream this weekend
'Crazy, Stupid, Love.' (2011)
Given Valentine's Day is coming up in just a couple of weeks, the addition of Glenn Ficarra and John Requa's hilarious romantic comedy "Crazy, Stupid makes perfect sense. It's chaotic, silly, occasionally romantic, and loads of fun.
This star-studded watch revolves around a set of intertwined love stories centered on middle-aged family man, Cal Weaver (Steve Carell). His wife, Emily (Julianne Moore), asks for a divorce, and that surprise separation also sees him losing his best friend, Bernie, who sides with her in the split.
The split sees him crossing paths with serial womanizer, Jacob Palmer (Ryan Gosling), a man who was just recently brushed off by a law school grad (Emma Stone). After listening to Cal loudly complain about his life, Jacob approaches Cal and offers to take him on as a project and transform his life by teaching him how to pick up women.

'Ex Machina' (2015)
Alex Garland's critically acclaimed and Oscar-winning directorial debut is also coming to Netflix this week, and it remains a gripping sci-fi thriller to this day.
The film revolves around Blue Book computer programmer Caleb Smith (Domhnall Gleeson). Caleb wins a contest that allows him to spend a week at the luxurious, hi-tech private estate of his company's CEO, Nathan Bateman (Oscar Isaac). There, he learns that Nathan has chosen him to be the human component in a Turing test to determine the intelligence and consciousness of Ava (Alicia Vikander), a humanoid robot with advanced artificial intelligence... and after connecting with her, Caleb soon finds himself caught between creator and creation.

'M3GAN 2.0' (2025)
"M3GAN 2.0" saw nowhere near the level of box office success that its predecessor did, nor was it received as warmly, but it sure looks to be a popular addition to the platform. It's the first of many Universal movies to come to Netflix under the platform's new licensing deal with the studio, as it's been Netflix's top watch since it arrived on Monday, Jan. 26.
After a breakout debut in 2023, murderous AI M3GAN returns in Gerard Johnstone's sci-fi sequel, wherein the underlying tech that powered her is stolen by a defense contractor. They use it to craft a military-grade walking weapon called Amelia ("Ahsoka's" Ivanna Sakhno)... a weapon that soon becomes self-aware and tires of taking orders. With the future of human existence on the line, M3GAN's creator Gemma (Allison Williams) realizes her only option is to resurrect her own killer creation, leading to a battle of the bots.
