23 ex-Broncos playing in the UFL

After competing for fans in 2023, the XFL and USFL merged last winter to form the newly branded United Football League (UFL).

The league will feature eight teams — four in the USFL conference and four in the XFL conference. The Birmingham Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats and Michigan Panthers (USFL) will join the Arlington Renegades, DC Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas and St. Louis Battlehawks (XFL).

The 2024 season will kick off this weekend with two games on Saturday followed by two more on Sunday (view the TV schedule here).

The Denver Broncos have 23 former players set to suit up in the UFL this spring. The most notable former Bronco playing in the league is Cody Latimer, who won Super Bowl 50 as a receiver with Denver in 2015. Latimer now plays tight end for the San Antonio Brahmas.

Also featured in the league are ex-Broncos specialists Marquette King, Colby Wadman and Taylor Russolino. Some players listed below (like quarterback Case Cookus) only had a brief stint with the team, but all of them wore a Denver uniform for at least one practice session.

Here’s a quick list of all the former Broncos playing in the UFL in 2024.
