2019 NFL Draft: Mississippi State OL Elgton Jenkins could be a potential Titans target

The Tennessee Titans took a stab at their interior offensive line issues during the free agency period by signing Roger Saffold.

But there’s still further changes general manager Jon Robinson can make with the 2019 NFL Draft looming near.

One addition he could make to the roster is Mississippi State offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins.

A to Z Sports Nashville’s Zach Ragan pinned Jenkins as an under-the-radar potential Titans draft prospect.

“Elgton Jenkins is a strong, versatile offensive lineman who played at guard, tackle and center in college,” he wrote. “The former Mississippi State o-lineman has the potential to be an early starter in the NFL, despite his lack of recognition on a national level during his college career.”

One key thing Jenkins brings to the table is versatility, as he started games at left tackle, left guard, right tackle and center in college. With Titans center Ben Jones set to become a free agent after the season, Jenkins could take his place.

If not, he could easily be moved elsewhere given his experience at multiple positions.

Regardless of how the Titans choose to go about it, improvement across a seemingly regressing offensive line is imperative if they want to be competitive in the AFC South in the upcoming season.
