2019 NFL draft: 4 Falcons picks agree to terms

The Atlanta Falcons have agreed to terms with four of their seven picks from the 2019 NFL draft, according to the official team website. First-round picks Chris Lindstrom and Kaleb McGary have not yet signed. Neither has fourth-round pick Kendall Sheffield. However, the remaining picks after them have all signed.

That includes defensive end John Cominsky from Charleston, who was the team’s No. 135 overall pick. Atlanta traded up two spots to leap-frog over the Cowboys to get him. Both of the team’s fifth-round picks have also signed – Washington cornerback Jordan Miller (No. 172) and Pittsburgh running back Qadree Ollison (No. 152). The Falcons’ last selection (No. 203) was used on Louisiana-Monroe wide receiver Marcus Green, who also agreed to terms.

Lindstrom, McGary and Sheffield will also likely sign soon – it just usually takes longer for players who are picked earlier in the draft to hammer out all the details of their more lucrative contracts.
