2019 NBA draftees are so young they don’t recognize the Super Nintendo or OutKast

Professional sports drafts are now full of young players born after the year 2000, and we’ll soon be watching NBA stars who have no idea what Seinfeld is. ESPN gathered a few of the top players selected in Thursday’s NBA Draft and asked them to name classic objects and people from the ’90s – and the results will likely make you feel incredibly old.

The quiz started off with a photo of the Super Nintendo, which was released in 1991 in the United States. No one could name it.

Coby White: “What is that, Game Cast?”

Rui Hachimura: “PlayStation 1?”

Coby White: “Dreamcast!”

Rui Hachimura: “GameCube?”

Good job, good effort kids. The players had similar difficulties naming the Easy-Bake Oven, and even legendary hip-hip group OutKast.
