1970s bungalow transformed into 'stunning' modern home

With more time on our hands during lockdown, the pandemic inspired many people to start or finish projects.

Many attempted to do up their homes, turning their hands to some DIY or putting money they’ve kept aside on renovations.

This new property listed for sale is no different, as the current owners have ‘transformed’ it from a 1970s bungalow into a ‘contemporary and stylish’ home.

Images of the property shared show that the home looks noticeably more modern than other properties on the cul-de-sac.

From the outside the house has new rendering and brickwork, as well as newly fitted windows and skylights in the roof.

The front garden has been designed so that owners can enjoy a ‘wildflower meadow’ that offers a ‘variety’ throughout the seasons.

Inside the property has been extended and renovated throughout.

Described as the ‘heart of the home’ the dining kitchen area has been opened up to benefit from an open plan style.

The dining area features sliding doors that open up directly onto the back garden.

Off from the kitchen and dining room is the living room which benefits from a cosy wood burning fire and windows overlooking the greenery in the garden.

It boasts three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a utility room.

Another bonus to this property is the garage with a 2.4 m headroom clearance, offering storage for a low caravan and the current owner also uses the space for his workshop and general storage.

The property sits on a 'generous' plot 0.20 acre with a back garden enclosed for privacy and has been landscaped for low maintenance upkeep.
