The XFL will debut its season on February 8, once the NFL season is over. Its eight teams have finalized their 52-man rosters.
A number of players who spent time with the Arizona Cardinals can be found littered across the rosters.
Who are they and when they spend time with the Cardinals?
WR Rashad Ross

Ross plays for the D.C. Defenders. The former Arizona State Sun Devil was on the Cardinals practice squad briefly in December 2017 and spent the 2018 offseason with the team before getting released during the preseason.
WR Malachi Dupre

Dupre also plays for the Defenders. He was on the Cardinals practice squad briefly in 2018 and was promoted to the active roster for the final game of the season. He spent part of the 2019 offseason with the team before getting released in May.
OL Dorian Johnson

Johnson was a disappointing fourth-round draft pick in 2017. Some believed he could potentially start as a rookie. He didn’t make the team, spent time on the practice squad and eventually was cut from there the second month of the season. He also plays now for the Defenders.
LB Scooby Wright

The former University of Arizona standout plays for the Defenders. He was with the Cardinals from the end of 2016 to before the 2018 season. He was signed of the Browns practice squad in December 2016.
He was cut before the 2017 season, signed to the practice squad, elevated to the 53-man roster, cut and brought back. He finished the season with the team and spent the 2018 offseason and preseason with the team before getting released before the season.
DL Suipeli Anau

Anau plays for the Defenders. He bounced on and off the Cardinals roster. He spent time on the practice squad in 2017. He was signed for 2018 in January, cut in May, re-signed after rookie camp as a tryout player, cut before the season, re-signed in 2019 during training camp and cut again before the season.
OL Josh Allen

Allen plays for the Dallas Renegades. He spent the 2018 offseason and preseason with the team before getting cut before the season.
K Matt McCrane

McCrane plays for the New York Guardians. He was an undrafted rookie in 2018 who competed with Phil Dawson for the kicking job. He was released before the season and brought back in October when Dawson got hurt. He kicked one game, making all three of his extra-point attempts before getting cut again after the game.
OL Brant Weiss

Weiss plays for the Guardians. He was an undrafted rookie in 2018 who spent time with the team in the offseason and preseason before getting cut. After playing in the AAF for the Arizona Hot Shots, he spent a month on the Cardinals roster in 2019 in the offseason.
CB Deatrick Nichols

Nichols plays for the Houston Roughnecks. He was an undrafted rookie in 2018 who spent time on the practice squad and active roster that year. He was brought back in 2019 but was cut before the season began.
LB Edmond Robinson

Robinson plays for the Roughnecks. He spent time on the Cardinals roster during the 2018 offseason and preseason before getting released before the season.
WR Carlton Agudosi

Agudosi plays for the St. Louis BattleHawks. He was an undrafted rookie in 2017 who spent time on the practice squad and even a few weeks on the active roster. He also spent the offseason and preseason with the team in 2018 before getting cut before the season.
S Harold Jones-Quartey

Jones-Quartey plays for the BattleHawks. He was an undrafted rookie in 2015 who impressed but couldn’t make the team. They hoped to sign him to the practice squad but he was claimed by the Chicago Bears, for whom he played two seasons before bouncing around the league for a couple of more years.
QB Aaron Murray

Murray plays for the Tampa Bay Vipers. He spent one week on the Cardinals practice squad in 2016.
WR Jalen Tolliver

Tolliver plays for the Vipers. He was an undrafted rookie for the Cardinals in 2018. He spent time on the practice squad before getting elevated to the active roster, playing in three games, starting once, and catching three passes.
He was released after the 2019 draft.
DE Praise Martin-Oguike

Martin-Aguike plays for the Seattle Dragons. He spent the 2018 offseason and the beginning of training camp before getting waived/injured.
DL Pasoni Tasini

Tasini plays for the Dragons. He spent 2017 on the practice squad. In 2018, he spent time on the practice squad and the active roster, appearing in one game. He spent the 2019 offseason with the team and some of training camp before getting released before the season.
QB Chad Kanoff

Kanoff plays for the L.A. Wildcats. He was the Cardinals’ third quarterback as an undrafted rookie in 2018. He spent most of the season on the practice squad but was elevated to the active roster at one point.
CB Harlan Miller

Miller was a 2016 sixth-round draft pick. He spent time on the practice squad and was elevated to the practice squad, played two games, started once and even had an interception. In 2017, he spent time on the practice squad and 53-man roster. He was cut for the last time before the 2018 season.
