139 new Covid cases reported in Bihar

Patna

PATNA: The state on Monday registered 139 new Covid cases against 61,589 samples tested. Altogether 129 people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours and the number of active cases in the state stood at 1,023 on Monday.

Of 139 new cases, Patna accounted for 47, followed by Gopalganj (15) and Supaul (14). Ten districts did not report any new case. Among the active patients in the state, 46 are undergoing treatment at different health facilities.

Meanwhile, 14.56 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the state so far, including 7.24 crore first dose, over 6.46 crore second dose and 85.51 lakh precautionary dose.
