Glasgow's transformation into Gotham City has stepped up a gear, with dramatic new scenes emerging from the set of The Batman Part II.
Film crews have continued work on Bothwell Street as the city centre is remodelled into the fictional home of the Caped Crusader for Matt Reeves' blockbuster sequel.
Our photographer visited the set on Thursday and captured a series of striking new images showing just how far the transformation has progressed.
Among the most eye-catching additions is a Gotham City Police Department SWAT vehicle parked on Bothwell Street, drawing crowds of curious onlookers behind barriers.
Several of the photographs show fans gathering to watch filming preparations, with many stopping to take pictures of the elaborate set dressing.
New Gotham signage has also appeared throughout the area, including road signs directing traffic towards "Downtown W Gotham Docks".
The latest images also provide a closer look at the artificial winter setting previously teased by director Matt Reeves.
Fake snow can be seen covering roads, pavements and vehicles, despite filming taking place during August.
One image shows a snow-covered car parked on the set, while others reveal entire sections of Bothwell Street dusted white to create the appearance of a freezing Gotham winter.
Another reveals the return of "Lacy's", the mysterious Gotham business first spotted earlier this week.
Christmas decorations can also be seen dotted around the set, including festive garlands attached to a Gotham-themed food cart called "Lucky Potato".
Large cranes, lighting rigs and production equipment continue to dominate the streetscape as crews prepare scenes for the highly anticipated sequel.
As we previously reported, Glasgow is no stranger to standing in for Gotham City.
The city was used extensively for 2022's The Batman, starring Robert Pattinson, and previously featured in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises.
Filming is taking place at a number of locations across the city centre over a three-week period from August 18, including Bothwell Street, Wellington Street, Glasgow Bridge, Broomielaw, Newton Street beneath the Kingston Bridge, North Street, Pitt Street and the National Cycle Network Route 75 along the River Clyde.
The Batman Part II is scheduled to be released in cinemas on February 18, 2028.
