The vehicle, transporting 17 personnel, was traveling towards a high-altitude area near Khanni Top along the Bhaderwah-Chamba interstate road when the driver reportedly lost control.
A joint rescue operation involving the Army and local police was immediately launched. Officials quoted by PTI stated that four soldiers were initially found dead at the site. Unfortunately, six more soldiers succumbed to their injuries later, raising the death toll to 10.
Authorities have confirmed that the remaining personnel are receiving medical treatment, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
