US forces shoot down Iranian drones over Strait of Hormuz

US Central Command announced that American forces shot down two Iranian attack drones over the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday.
This incident occurred after a day of strikes by both the US and Iran , which tested a fragile ceasefire in the region.
Previously, the US military stated it had downed six Iranian ballistic missiles aimed at its Gulf allies, with Iran confirming it targeted a US airbase in Kuwait and the US Navy’s 5th Fleet in Bahrain.
Donald Trump claimed Iran’s military had been 'totally destroyed' by three months of conflict and asserted he knew the exact number of missiles Iran possessed.
Iran’s foreign ministry subsequently warned that the US would be held responsible for any consequences arising from its 'illegal actions' in the ongoing conflict.
