Trump says he stopped ‘biggest attack since World War II’ to give peace a chance

President Trump halted a planned strike on Iran, stating it would have been the "biggest attack since World War Two."
Trump claimed he is "not looking to kill people" and believes a peace deal with Iran is "imminent."
He indicated that both Iran and Saudi Arabia, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, urged the U.S. to call off the strikes and pursue a deal.
The potential agreement, which Trump said has "perimeters agreed to," aims for the complete reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and Iran's denuclearization.
The decision to halt the strike comes as public approval for the five-month conflict has significantly declined, with only 28 percent of U.S. adults supporting Trump's handling of the situation.
