  • President Donald Trump claimed that U.S. service members killed in the Iran conflict shared his view that Iran must not develop nuclear weapons , making these remarks before attending a dignified transfer ceremony for four fallen soldiers.
  • The White House did not offer proof for Trump's assertion about the deceased soldiers' political opinions, instead directing inquiries back to his original statements.
  • The four service members honored were Tyler James Feehan, Isabella Gonzales, Angel S. Rampersad and Michael Emmanuel Swinton, who died in Iranian attacks in Jordan and Iraq.
