Millions of hearts are currently breaking around the world – yes, Harry Styles is reportedly engaged to the actor Zoe Kravitz. The It-couple have been papped everywhere from Rome to New York in their eight month courtship. Their latest stroll through London has now sparked engagement rumours, after Kravitz was seen wearing an enormous sparkly ring.
Nothing has been said by the couple themselves, but a People source has apparently confirmed the engagement, adding that the news has only been shared with a “small circle” of friends and loved ones.
Of course, magazine sources are notoriously untrustworthy, but this hasn’t stopped fan reactions – and speculation surrounding the dazzling diamond ring. The showstopper’s source is still yet unknown, but Kravitz is an ambassador for the jewellery designer Jessica McCormack – who designed Zendaya’s engagement ring – so it could be a custom style from the label.
Experts have said that the centre stone looks to be more than six carats in size. “It is crystal clear that Zoe Kravitz is wearing a stunning diamond on her ring finger,” says Blue Nile’s Chief Merchandising Officer, Katie Liappas. “The stone appears to be either a cushion or Asscher-cut roughly six to eight carats, estimated cost in the $500K range.” Liappas continues: “Known for her gothic, biker-chic aesthetic, this ring, set in white metal with a pave band and halo, is a more classical choice for the actress.”
Romance rumours first blossomed last August, when the 37 year old actor and 32 year old musician were spotted arm in arm in Italy. In the months since, Styles has reportedly met Kravitz’s famous dad, Lenny, and the couple have even begun dressing like one another (slouchy jeans, baseball caps and sweaters thrown over shoulders).
While we hold our breath for official confirmation – of both the engagement and ring designer – I’ve rounded up an equally dazzling engagement ring alternatives.
