Zoe Ball hints at ‘glamorous’ new gig as Strictly host rumours fly

• Zoe Ball has hinted at a new "glamorous" presenting role, fuelling speculation she is a contender for the new host of Strictly Come Dancing.
• During the podcast Dig It with Jo Whiley and Zoe Ball, Ball spoke about her plans for the week, saying: “Hopefully afterwards I’ll be able to tell you about it all, but obviously at the moment I can’t say anything about it.”
• Ball's co-host Whiley made a "Strictly gardening" joke after Ball mentioned needing to be glamorous for an upcoming event; Ball then swiftly moved on.
• Ball, who previously hosted Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two, expressed her desire to host the main show in January.
• Her father, Johnny Ball, previously suggested she was being considered for the role and would "love" the job.
