Zoe Ball and Fatboy Slim's son off to university after 'amazing' A-Level results

Proud mum Zoe Ball will soon be waving her son off to university after announcing he'd smashed his A-Levels.

The BBC Radio 2 presenter took to Instagram to praise her son for all his hard work.

Zoe posted a picture of Woody, who she shares with DJ Fatboy Slim , relaxing on a sunlounger.

She said: "congratulations to my clever rave monkey boy wonder @woody_cook on his amazing A Level Results & his place at Bristol Uni. Proudest Mama lady today. #bhasvic #bristoluni"

She also posted a screenshot of a message from the University, which said "You've got a place!"

Woody studied Film Studies, Drama and English Language and Literature. He achieved an A, a B and a C respectively.

These were the grades Woody needed to secure his place at the University of Bristol.

He posted on his own Instagram to celebrate the news, sharing a photo of himself on a boat in Ibiza, with his results below.

He captioned the snap: "Nobody saw it coming but I went and smashed my A-Levels! #a_levels #alevels2019 #alevels THANKS FOR ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT"

Woody has seen an outpouring of congratulations on his Instagram and his mum's, wishing him the best in his time at Bristol.

One user said, "Such good news! Many congratulations Woody, Bristol is fab!"

Another wrote, "Well done and welcome to the West Country xxxx".

Woody has a younger sister, Nelly May Lois Cook, who is only 9 years old. Zoe, son of legendary presenter Johnny Ball, is now separated from Norman Cook, real name of Fat Boy Slim. The pair married in 1999 but divorced in 2016.
