Zoe Ball has shared how "grateful" she is after getting her Covid vaccine this week.
The Radio Two host, 50, took to her Instagram account on Friday afternoon to share that she had had the first dose of the Atrazeneca jab.
She posted a photo of herself holding up her vaccine card for the camera as she put her thumb up, and the delight was clear to see in her face as she snapped the photo.
She captioned the post: "Vaccinated. Feeling grateful. Thank you Rory for my shot & to all the Vaccine team at #BrightonCentre Happy weekend peeps."
The Covid vaccination priority list recently got down to the over 50s, which is why Zoe has been able to get the jab this week.
As of Friday evening, 29,316,130 people across the UK have now had their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
3,009,863 of those people have had their second dose, which means they are now fully inoculated.
The government is aiming to have all adults in the UK to be vaccinated by the summer.
Zoe joins a whole host of celebrities who have had their first does of the vaccine this week.
Good Morning Britain presenter Alex Beresford got his jab on Wednesday.
The 40-year-old said he "didn't look old enough" to get his done yet.
He said on Instagram: "I know I don’t look old enough[laughing emoji] but I completed it mate!"
He finished the post with the hashtag #vaccinated.
