Queensland man Zlatko Sikorsky has been charged with attempted murder over the alleged attack of a 32-year-old woman in June.
Mr Sikorsky, 34, was on Friday charged with two counts of attempted murder, torture and assault occasioning bodily harm.
Police said the victim, a 32-year-old woman from the Logan suburb of Daisy Hill, was assaulted before being threatened with a gun inside a vehicle at a service station on June 5.
Two days later, police allege the woman was in a car driving through Tingalpa when she was punched in the head and forcefully pushed into the car window.
Police said it caused swelling and bruising to her face.
It is understood the woman came forward to police on July 2.
Mr Sikorsky, from Shailer Park, is already in custody.
He was arrested on the Sunshine Coast on June 30.
He is due to face the Beenleigh Magistrates Court on September 3.
