Zlatan Ibrahimovic takes on Bottle Cap Challenge, invites ex-Man Utd teammate Paul Pogba to go next

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has become the latest star to take on the Bottle Cap Challenge, nominating former Manchester United teammate Paul Pogba to follow his lead.

Conor McGregor, Max Holloway, Jason Statham and John Mayer are among the names in sport and entertainment to get involved with the viral dare that is sweeping social media.

Footballers could be next in line, with ex-Sweden international and taekwondo black belt Ibrahimovic posting his offering from the LA Galaxy training room – shortly after scoring a brace in a 2-0 win over Toronto FC.

The trend also involves nominating someone else to take on the challenge. After unscrewing the bottle cap with a swift roundhouse kick, Ibrahimovic called out Pogba to follow suit.

UFC featherweight champion Holloway was among the first major names to get in on the act, with McGregor joining in after being challenged by Statham.

After completing the task, McGregor challenged former world champion Floyd Mayweather to show if his kicking ability is anywhere near as good as his boxing.
