Zlatan Ibrahimovic sets Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba a challenge

Paul Pogba has been challenged to take part in the latest online viral challenge by former teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The former Manchester United forward took to social media on Friday morning to nominate World Cup winner Pogba to match his efforts in the 'bottle cap challenge'.

The latest viral trend sees participants channel their inner martial art ability as they look to acrobatically kick the lid off of a drinks bottle, hence the name.

It is unclear where the challenge originated from however it soon gathered publicity when the likes of Conor McGregor, Jason Statham and Ryan Reynolds all participated.

LA Galaxy forward Ibrahimovic was one of the next celebrities to be nominated for the challenge and on Friday morning he uploaded his effort as he completed the task with ease.

The Swedish legend then took to Twitter to nominate Paul Pogba to complete the challenge himself, which in turn is likely to build publicity for the challenge in English football.

United are due to fly out to Australia in the coming days as they begin their pre-season tour of the Far East, so don't be surprised to see the 26-year-old accept the challenge while away with his club teammates this summer.
