It has been a great start to the season for Jose Mourinho and Tottenham so far.
Despite losing the opening game of the season against Everton, Spurs now sit top of the table after going unbeaten since then, with Mourinho's men taking 24 points from their last ten games in the top flight.
As a result, Spurs sit at the summit of the division, ahead of Premier League champions Liverpool on goal difference.
Plenty of pundits and fans have now been talking about Tottenham's hopes of winning a first Premier League title, with Spurs in the title race with Liverpool, Chelsea and others.
But while Mourinho has been keen to deflect talk of Spurs being in the hunt for the title, the fact that they are being spoken about as contenders comes as no surprise to one of his former players at Manchester United.
Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live’s Football Daily podcast, Zlatan Ibrahimovic has praised Jose Mourinho for the job he is doing at Tottenham.
“He’s doing his job, he’s proved and has proven that he is a top coach, one of the best, so he is just continuing to do what he’s doing, so it’s not a surprise,” Ibrahimovic said.
“The only thing he’s doing is doing it with a different club now, so I know who Mourinho is as a person and a coach and the philosophy that he brings out is a successful recipe.
"He’s just continuing to do things he was doing before.”
Spurs travel to face Crystal Palace tomorrow, with Mourinho's side looking for a sixth win in their last seven Premier League games.
