Laurent Blanc has admitted Zlatan Ibrahimovic could leave Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season as speculation grows over the striker’s failure to sign a new contract.
Blanc, the PSG manager, admitted the Sweden international’s future is “a big question mark”, adding: “His contract will run until June 2016 so it’s more about what the player wants to do.
“We are all focused on the league right now but that is a question we will ask ourselves. At 34, Zlatan is showing that he has still got it,” Blanc said.
Ibrahimovic has scored 85 goals in 98 league appearances for the French champions and has helped them qualify comfortably for the knockout stages of this year’s Champions League.
The striker has not yet made public his plans, having said last month: “I have not decided yet what will happen at the end of the season. I don’t know what will happen at this stage.”
