Zlatan Ibrahimovic has dropped a huge clue about his next club just a day after Jose Mourinho responded to claims he could sign the forward for Tottenham.
The former Manchester United striker is currently a free agent after leaving LA Galaxy following a two-year spell in the MLS where he scored 52 goals in just 56 games.
The Swedish legend has been heavily linked with a move back to Serie A, with Juventus, AC Milan and Napoli all touted as possible destinations.
However, Ibrahimovic has revealed a latest clue about where he may turn next and it is a return to a familiar country.
Ibrahimovic uploaded a short clip to Instagram of the shirt of Swedish side Hammarby, with the back of the kit bearing the name of the Swedish superstar.
Despite offers from some of the biggest clubs in Europe, the move makes more sense than just Ibrahimovic returning to his home nation.
The Swedish side are part-owned by the Anschutz Entertainment Group, who are also the main investors in LA Galaxy.
However, despite the speculation, Hammarby's head of communications Axel Pershagen stated that a move has not taken place: "Zlatan has not joined us yet. If he had signed a contract, it would be on our website".
This latest hint from Ibrahimovic appeared just hours after Mourinho denied claims he would be looking to bring the former Barcelona striker to north London.
Having worked with Ibrahimovic at both Inter and Manchester United, there were heavily links in the media over a potential third reunion.
However, Mourinho rubbished the claims and insisted that they have no need for another forward like Ibrahimovic because of Harry Kane.
"We have the best striker in England (in Kane), we have one of the top two or three strikers in the world," said Mourinho.
"It (a move for Zlatan) would not make any sense when we have Harry Kane."
