Zlatan Ibrahimovic challenges Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba to a contest

Manchester United favourite Zlatan Ibrahimovic has challenged Paul Pogba to take him on in a skills contest.

The duo are both training in self isolation amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic which has suspended all elite level sport in Europe.

Pogba and his United teammates have all been given individual training regimes to take part in at home, while Ibrahimovic is also doing the same at AC Milan.

With no football on the horizon for the foreseeable future players are looking to get creative when it comes to staying fit, and Swedish legend Ibrahimovic has a new idea up his sleeve.

Taking to social media on Wednesday the 38-year-old forward approached Pogba challenging him in a contest to demonstrate their best tricks.

"Paul Pogba I know you have skills," Ibrahimovic wrote. "But I know I have skills also. I want to challenge you in a skill contest. Afraid?"

Ibrahimovic left United two years ago but is still hugely popular amongst players and fans at Old Trafford. During his time at the club the veteran scored 29 goals in 53 appearances and helped them to win three trophies in his debut season.

He is now back playing in Italy for AC Milan following an incredible spell at LA Galaxy in Major League soccer.
