Ziyech, Mount to start and Jorginho dilemma - reporters' Chelsea team for Burnley trip

Chelsea will face a third away game in eight days with a trip to Burnley tomorrow afternoon and Frank Lampard is expected to make some changes with concerns over working his players too hard.

The head coach will certainly bring Thiago Silva back into the side after he sat out Wednesday's trip to Krasnodar.

Beyond that it is harder to predict. Our reporters have had a go.

Frank Lampard always believed in Christian Pulisic

Three clean sheets in a row means that there is little need to tinker with the defence but Thiago Silva will return for Toni Rudiger and Reece James and Cesar Azpilicueta seems a toss up at right back.

Further up it is impossible to predict but there is a suspicion that Lampard could go with a 4-3-3 system after it worked so well in the second half against Krasnodar. That would likely mean Jorginho drops out with N'Golo Kante holding and Mason Mount joining Kai Havertz as joint No8s.

Hakim Ziyech is in line for his first league start having looked slick in Russia, while Christian Pulisic may return to the starting XI in place of Callum Hudson-Odoi with TImo Werner in between.

Alan's team: Mendy; James, Thiago Silva, Zouma, Chilwell; Havertz, Kante, Mount; Ziyech, Werner, Pulisic.

Frank Lampard doesn't quite seem to know what his best side is yet and he has continued to tinker with his personnel and formation.

The head coach may reshuffle his pack once more and Hakim Ziyech should be right at the top of that deck as he gives the side a healthy dollop of creativity and trickery that could unlock defences.

On the other hand, Jorginho, who missed a penalty against the Russian side midweek, is guilty of slowing the tempo of Chelsea's play.

Perhaps it was no coincidence that three of the four goals Chelsea scored against Krasnodar came after Mason Mount replaced him in the 71st minute.

Defensively, Chelsea look sound, especially with the excellent Edouard Mendy in goal. So make some changes further up the park and Chelsea's attacking potential can be unleashed.

Rich's team: Mendy; Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, Zouma, Chilwell; Kante; Ziyech, Mount, Havertz, Pulisic; Werner.
