Werner, Havertz, Kepa: Chelsea injury updates and team news ahead of Krasnodar and Burnley

Chelsea are making their final preparations ahead of the Champions League clash against Krasnodar on Wednesday evening.

Blues boss Frank Lampard will want his side to return to winning ways after the goalless draw with Manchester United in the Premier League on Saturday evening.

The west Londoners are yet to pick up three points in Europe after the draw against Sevilla in gameweek one, so the trip to Krasnodar presents the perfect chance to get off the mark.

Here is a round-up of all the very latest Chelsea injury news.

Kepa Arrizabalaga

The 26-year-old has fallen out of favour with Lampard following the arrival of keeper Edouard Mendy.

The Spaniard didn't play against United as he had a slight knock.

Lampard said: "Both [Thiago Silva and Christian Pulisic] are fine, we've got a pretty clean bill of health on that side, other than Kepa who has a shoulder issue so won't travel to Manchester.

"The only other player out is Billy Gilmour who is obviously long-term, but he'll be back soon.

"Petr Cech's not coming [as a player]."

Mason Mount

The midfielder started against Sevilla but only made the bench for United on Saturday.

The 21-year-old came on in the 72nd minute for Kai Havertz in Manchester.

The England international was substituted for Hakim Ziyech in the second half in the Sevilla match but that was thought to have been a tactical call.

Billy Gilmour

He played no part in the United game but Lampard has confirmed that Billy Gilmour is making good progress following knee surgery.

"Billy is working really well," Lampard said ahead of the Sevilla game. "He’s probably three or four weeks away from his return.

"He’s working outside with the physios at the moment but we hope to integrate him into training with either ourselves or the Under-21s at some point soon.

"We are probably looking at the other side of the next international break with Billy, all being well."

Meanwhile Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic were all replaced against United but they were all tactical decisions and should be fine for the Champions League this week.
