Zip World announces Skyflyer experience that will allow you to float 400ft above the ground

Adventure firm Zip World has announced its new Skyflyer experience will allow people to view a Welsh town from 400ft above.

The attraction is coming to Rhyl site this summer and will offer 360 degree views of the region's coastline.

Riders will be lifted into the air on board a gondola set on a 15m platform below the Aerostat airship- which will rise 400ft - nearly twice the height of the town's Sky Tower. The Skyflyer will be located next to the Pavilion Theatre from July and tickets are selling fast already. The attraction is perfect for all of the family as children from age 0 and wheelchair users can enjoy the ride.

Tickets for the Skyflyer are on sale now and start from £20. You can get them from this link here . The news comes shortly after Zip World announced that they are currently building their latest adventure Underground Golf - which will be a subterranean adventure golfing course that will be set in an old slate mining cavern.

Zip World is home to several of north Wales' biggest adventures and unique experiences. Some of the most popular experiences include Velocity 2 which is the fastest zipline in the world located in Bethesda. The company has several locations throughout North Wales stretching from Betws-y-Coed to Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Speaking last year, Sean Taylor, owner and founder of Zip World, who have been working with Denbighshire Leisure and Lindstrand Technologies on the venture, said: “This is a fantastic attraction for Rhyl, as well as the whole of North Wales, and will see visitors from all over the country.

"Similar to Velocity and Bounce Below, people will be coming to tick this off their bucket lists.

"The success of Denbighshire Leisure Ltd’s recent projects and investments has given us and other businesses the confidence to invest in the Skyflyer and the Rhyl seafront."
