Zion Williamson is set to star in the NBA All-Star game this weekend.

Williamson first drew national attention at high school for his slam dunks and went on to play one season at Duke University as a freshman.

There, he was named ACC Player of the Year, ACC Athlete of the Year and ACC Rookie of the Year. In 2019, Williamson was drafted by New Orleans Pelicans with the first overall pick.

In October that year, he tore his meniscus and so made his professional debut three months later.

That season, Williamson became the first teenager in NBA history to score 20+ points in 10 consecutive games.

Despite sitting out for the Slam Dunk contest, he will surely be key for Team Durant as he comes in to replace Joel Embiid as a starter.

Only Kobe Bryant, LeBron James and Magic Johnson were younger when selected for their debut in the All-Star game.
