Zinedine Zidane's son starts dating Real Madrid star Marco Asensio's ex-girlfriend

Zinedine Zidane's son Luca has begun dating the ex-girlfriend of former Real Madrid teammate Marco Asensio.

Marina Muntaner, 27, was in a relationship with Asensio previously but has joined Luca, 22, on holiday in Ibiza where they looked extremely loved up.

The education student posted pictures of her with Luca on Instagram and the goalkeeper did the same.

It is not known when Muntaner ended things with Asensio but fortunately for Zidane Snr it should not cause any friction in the Madrid dressing room.

Luca has recently left the Los Blancos after his contract expired following a season spent out on loan at Racing Santander.

The Frenchman is now on the look out for a new club while Asensio remains at the Bernabeu

Asensio has only recently returned from a nasty injury after rupturing a cruciate knee ligament.

He managed to make 10 appearances for his side since the restart and is believed to be part of his manager's plans going forward.

Madrid boss Zidane was also on the holiday with Luca and Marina, as well as his wife Veronique and son Enzo.

The 48-year-old was spotted relaxing with his family on a yacht off the Spanish isle.

He was recently linked with the vacant managerial role at another of his former clubs Juventus prior to Andrea Pirlo's appointment, and admitted last month he is unsure what his next move will be.

"Nobody knows what's going to happen in the future," Zidane said. "I never talk about next season, or the following year.

"I've got a contract and I'm happy. You never know what will happen in the future.

"Things can change overnight in the world of football and I have no idea what the future holds."

He is already targeting new signing for the season ahead though and has reportedly identified RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano as a long-term successor to Sergio Ramos.

A bigger problem for Zidane though is whether he can offload winger Gareth Bale who is not part of his plans for the future but currently has no intentions of leaving the club.
