Zinedine Zidane is among the names being touted to succeed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Manchester United but previous comments from his agent suggest otherwise.
Solskjaer is under significant pressure following a poor run of performances, with the breaking point potentially being Sunday's hammering at Old Trafford at the hands of Liverpool.
That loss may have made the Norwegian's position untenable at Old Trafford and he's heavily favoured to be the next Premier League manager to be shown the door.
Plenty of names are being thrown about as potential successors to Solskjaer at United and Zidane is among them, as he remains out of work.
The Frenchman won three consecutive Champions League titles with Real Madrid between 2016 and 2018, as well as La Liga twice, and was previously linked with United in 2018 following Jose Mourinho's dismissal.
However, his agent Alain Migliaccio quashed those rumours at the time and his precise wording suggests the outcome won't be any different this time around.
"I don't think he will manage in England. It doesn't fit his style. I talked to him. It doesn't really appeal to him," he told Le Journal Du Dimanche in October 2018.
Zidane has been out of work since stepping down from Real Madrid for a second time at the end of last season, being linked with numerous jobs since then.
Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and the France national team are among those that have been touted to be Zidane's next move, as well as Newcastle United following their takeover.
It remains to be seen whether Zidane's stance on English football has changed in the past three years but a move at this stage seems unlikely.
