Zinedine Zidane planning Real Madrid transfer overhaul to put Manchester United on alert over Paul Pogba

Zinedine Zidane admitted he is planning a transfer overhaul at Real Madrid this summer amid rumours that Manchester United's Paul Pogba could leave for the Bernabeu.

The Madrid boss told journalists on Sunday that he is going to make changes to his squad in terms of both incomings and outgoings.

The 13-time European champions will finish this season trophyless after crashing out of the Champions League to Ajax and stars like Toni Kroos, Gareth Bale and Isco have been linked with moves away — with United consistently linked but likely to prioritise other areas in the summer transfer window.

In terms of incomings, there has been no shortage of reports of Madrid's interest in Pogba, with the United midfielder saying the Spanish giants would be "a dream club for every player".

Zidane, it seems, wants a new era of Galacticos, whoever they may be.
