EYE ON AFRICA © FRANCE 24

Zimbabwe's President Emmerson Mnangagwa hits out at "dark forces" and vows to "flush out" what he calls "bad apples", an apparent reference to opponents and critics who tried to stage protests last Friday. Human rights lawyers say up to 60 people have been arrested in recent days in connection with the rallies. Also, secondary schools reopen in Nigeria with only two weeks to go before exams. And finally, online virtual reality tours are bringing tourists a taste of Rwanda as its tourism sector is hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic.
